MUSD School Police Department has jurisdiction over all MUSD school sites, district facilities, and MUSD property and was selected as the required partner for local law enforcement. MUSD School Police has developed strong relationships with neighboring law enforcement agencies for information sharing, sharing of resources, and joint prevention and education activities. Sgt. Linh Dinh serves as the liaison between MUSD and the MUSD School Police Department. Sgt. Linh Dinh serves on the Core Management Team for the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Grant Initiative.
 Sgt. Dinh has become the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Manager and Operations Chief following the departure
of Capt. John Ortega earlier this year. He leads a department of 106 sworn and non-sworn officers who oversee the safety and security of all district schools, their students, staff, and faculty. Sgt. Dinh comes highly qualified with extensive experience
